Long before I came to work at Medicine Mama’s Apothecary, I was a battling  a serious case of dry, itchy, inflamed skin. I had seen multiple dermatologists who had called this condition eczema. At the time I knew very little about eczema, I just knew I didn’t like it. These dermatologists began prescribing topical steroids and when my outbreaks would get unmanageable, I would take a prescription oral steroid.
