We take great pride in the fact that Medicine Mama’s Apothecary is one of the few skin care companies still handcrafting our products in America, in-house with a traditional artisanal method. On any given day, our founder is in the Apothecary preparing our next batch of magic.
In January of 2012, Medicine Mama’s Apothecary received its certification from the CCOF as an Organic Processor and Handler, the highest level of certification achievable for a manufacturer in our industry.
We are extremely proud of our certification, but in truth it didn’t change how we made our products or what raw materials we sourced. Our goal has always been to make the highest quality natural skincare products possible. It turns out that the standards we held for ourselves already met the highest standards of organic certification.
